Reducing Landfill
To help combat landfill the 3 R's (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle) was coined to educate everyone in how they might reduce their impact the planet.
- Reduce: by reducing the amount you consume, you have less to throw away.
- Reuse: by reusing existing products more less new products are consumed.
- Recycle: by recycling you can create a new product from products or materials have already been in use.
JumbleAID offers everyone the change to implement the 3R’s in their everyday life. Most people Can look around the home and see “Stuff” which is no longer in use but is perfectly usable, it might be a change in style, or might not be the latest technology, or simply the wrong colour due to redecoration. Many reasons could make an item fall out of favour with us, however, somebody else might see the same items as ideal for their needs and can offer a new home.
Supporting Charities
With JumbleAID you can start Fundraising for charity By offering “Gifts” to fellow JumbleAID users, you can raise much need monies for the charity of your choice. All you need to do is register with JumbleAID and start adding your “Gifts” for your chosen charities. Once a JumbleAID “Seeker” fulfils their pledge for the Gift your charity receives the money plus GiftAID (if applicable), remember NOT A PENNY OF THE DONATION GOES TO JumbleAID. Everybody benefits… The Gifter – passes items to another for reuse and raises funds for charity The Environment – items going to landfill are reduced Te Seeker – receives an item at a reduced cost and see their money going to charity The Charity – receives funds from a NEW source.
