Answer: A Gifter is a JumbleAID user who posts an item on the website as a “Gift”.

Answer: A Gift is any item listed by a Gifter on the JumbleAID website.

Answer: At the end of the listing period you are required to select a winning Seeker from the list of pledges that you have received. It is up to you to select the most suitable recipient of the Gift as you may choose a Seeker who is located closer to you rather than a Seeker who offers the most money. You may choose the best recipient based on the Seekers Profile. The choice is yours!

Answer: This is always a difficult question to answer, but we feel that you should be realistic when setting the Target Value for your Gift, as we are not an Auction we feel that all Seekers will look at the details of the Gift and will determine their own “value” when pledging. They may even pledge twice if they feel that their previous pledge was not high enough. As seekers cannot see each others pledges they will offer their own value.

Answer: We recommend that you describe the product as clearly as possible without overstating the value, honesty is always the best policy. Please ensure that you state any condition that may be detrimental to the value of it.

Answer: We have chosen to restrict the number of images to 3 as we feel that this enables the Gift to be displayed without cluttering the overall presentation.

Answer: Please place the Gift in the most suitable category as JumbleAID does not allow multiple category placements.

Answer: Yes… but you can only do this if no pledges have been made against the listing as once you receive a pledge it would not be fair to alter the description. However, you may still withdraw the Gift if you have made an error in the description.

Answer: Yes… you can select any charity which is on our database, if you cannot find your charity and wish to add this to the database then you can do this on the Charities page. Once we confirm that the charity has bee added you can then select the charity from the database.
