Who or what is a “Seeker"?
Answer: A Seeker is a JumbleAID user who is looking at the Gifts on offer in the JumbleAID website, they respond to a Gift listing by placing a pledge and they may even ask the Gifter questions about the Gift. A Seeker may also place a Want Ad requesting a Gift which they cannot find on offer in the Gift listings.

Answer: A Pledge is an offer you as a Seeker will make to the Gifter for a Gift... the pledge can be for any amount you choose (minimum value £2.00).
Answer: A Gifter may choose to offer a Gift that is designated as a "Get It Now" - this means that the first seeker to offer the Target Pledge (or above) will immediately end the listing and Win that Gift. The seeker will then be required to meet their pledge by 'paying' for the Gift.
Answer: The "Target Pledge" is a only a guide offered by the Gifter as that is the value they put on the Gift. You can Pledge as much or as little as you think the Gift is worth; the money will go to a charity and not the Gifter so you do not need to worry about 'Greedy' Gifters.
Answer: The "Target Pledge" is a nominal figure offered by the Gifter to offer a guide value for that Gift. You must determnine your own value for the Gift before pledging.
Answer: At the end of a Gift listing the Gifter will look at all the pledge offer he recieved on a Gift and will select the best of those offers, this may not be the highest pledge!
Answer: Yes - at the bottom of the details for each listing is a "Ask a Question" button. The question and answer will be displayed at the bottom of the details for everyone to see. We encourage you to ask as many questions as need to establish the suitability of a Gift before you make your pledge!
Answer: No - We feel that is is fairer for every one to pledge without being able to see anyone elses pledge so that you can offer a pledge value you are happy with rather than getting carried away trying to beat someone elses higher pledge. You can raise your pledge if you wish but you should only do this if you want to.
Answer: Depending on the choices made by th Gifter; you can arrange to collect the Gift in a place to be agreed by the Gifter, this may be at their home, a school, church in fact anywhere. Please keep safe! If offered you may post the item either your or the seeker will have agreed to pay dependingon the options selected by the Gifter fro that Gift.
