Precautions for the use of IKO bearings for operation inspection

wallpapers Industry 2021-01-19
Before installing the bearing equipment, the components must be carefully inspected. Today, we will talk about the fine inspection of the installation of IKO bearings, an important part of the operating equipment.

Check all parts in the bearing and remove all burrs. Clean the shaft and shoulder, and measure the tolerance and shape of the shaft and bearing box. Check the oil seal, please contact the seller. Please unpack the bearing before installation. Try to ensure that IKO bearings are not contaminated by dust.

Except for the inner hole and outer surface of the bearing. The rust inhibitor in other parts does not need to be wiped off. It is easy to use petroleum and solvent for cleaning and let it dry. Large bearings are usually sealed with a thick layer of grease-like rust inhibitor. Before installation, it can be removed by cleaning.

Use correct installation methods and tools in a spacious and clean working place at room temperature. The installation site should be free of metal sand, cement powder and other foreign objects. If possible, the part to be installed with IKO bearings should be moved to a refurbishment factory. If the machine cannot be installed immediately after unpacking, the machine should be covered and the bearing should be kept from the surrounding environment.

The packaging and packaging of the bearing are first-class, please unpack before installation. Use a lint-free cloth to clean the bearing inner hole and outer ring surface. Be careful not to use cotton waste cloth. And those bearings that will be lubricated with very low or very high-temperature grease, especially synthetic grease, should be completely cleaned to avoid rust-preventing marks from adversely affecting the performance of the lubricant.

1. Take out the processing
Sweat on your hands can cause rust during operation, so keep your hands clean and dry, and wear gloves when necessary. Bearings can only be removed from the original packaging for cleaning before assembly. If only a few sets of bearings are taken out of multiple packages sealed with volatile corrosion inhibitor paper, the package should be resealed immediately: the protective gas phase of VCI paper can only be maintained in a closed package. IKO taken out The bearing should be greased and oiled immediately.

2. Compatibility and miscibility
The anti-rust oil for bearings can be compatible and mixed with lubricating oil and mineral oil-based grease. If used: thickeners other than synthetic lubricants and lithium-based complex soaps should be tested for compatibility. If it is incompatible, especially when using: polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFF) or cycloalkyl fluorometer-based lubricants or lubricants containing polyurea thickeners, or if the lubricant is changed or the bearing is contaminated, you should Clean the anti-rust oil before grease loading.

3. Cleaning
After cleaning, IKO bearings must be dried and immediately applied with anti-rust oil or greased to avoid corrosion.
